The only way to find if you puked because of food poisoning or because you are pregnant is to take a pregnancy test. The first signs of pregnancy don’t show before one month. The first week of pregnancy is counted from the date of your last menstrual period. So, the pregnancy symptoms start to show from that very week only. General symptoms like spotting and mild cramping is observed during first 4 weeks. Then more specific symptoms like nausea, fatigue, bloating, excessive urination is seen between 4 and 6 weeks.
Cramping and spotting happens when blastocyst implants itself into the lining of uterus. This causes light bleeding which many women confuse with regular period. But this lasts only for 3 days. So even though this is an early pregnancy symptom it can’t be used to tell if you are pregnant or not.
During early weeks of pregnancy your breasts will more likely to be swollen or tender due to hormonal changes. But this subsides after a few weeks.
This is called morning sickness but it can happen at anytime of the day. It is probably due to hormonal changes but it subsides by the end of first trimester. You can take morning sickness tea for it.
Due to soaring progesterone you might feel sleep and exhausted during first month of pregnancy. Due to this you might experience fatigue as a pregnancy symptom.
You may find yourself gaining weight by the end of first trimester. You will start having cravings and will consume more food portion than usual.
Due to certain hormones, flow to your blood vessels increases causing the ‘Pregnancy Glow’. People may start complimenting you for that. But this increased activity of oil glands also causes acne besides giving you a glowy appearance.
The only way to be sure about your pregnancy is through a pregnancy test. These symptoms usually mean that you are pregnant but this could also mean that you are having some issues with your body. So even though you are pretty sure about your pregnancy symptoms you should probably get yourself tested to be sure about everything.
